Beamng drive tire mod2/11/2024 ![]() ![]() Mods are great, Nix has some really good suspension, cosmetics, and added stuff as well as IYB. Those are my tips for my Custom 4WD truck I may have missed some points but those are for cosmetic or mods. An important upgrade is Locking Differentials. Brakes go for the Off-road brakes with the Full-Race Pads on all 4 wheels, Disc is better than drum So if wondering than yea. To Start off add or switch to a 4WD Transfer case, then the Transmission Manual or Auto that is not up to me and gear is good buy yea if wondering it is up to you. zip Beta IYB Off-Road Tires 4.11 Now with Texture for almost every tires Overview Updates (16) Reviews (116) Version History Discussion I just made an Instagram account, I'll be posting screenshot of wip mods and stuff if y'all wanna see. Crew Cab, 6.9L again add mounts, but add a Stage 1 Super if you don’t want that added power go for a late Super then.Ĥ. ![]() Extended = 6.9L Add Heavy Duty mounts too, if needed add an early Supercharger. There is various width option after you put the tires (except for the smaller ones) Variable grip in tire tunning. You will want power not too much though, For a Short Frame go for a 5.5L and add Heavy Duty mounts, bone stock is good. Cosmetics are added tire, Nix Fuel Tank, Jacks, wheel color, and roof supplies. Its enabled as soon as the lightbar is on and default games siren is off. Enable chase mod: Chase Mode needs to be enabled in order to toggle sirens, rumblers and warning siren. For better performance add a smaller bumper or no bumpers mainly for cosmetics though if wanted. Most mod vehicles in my experience dont drive well at all but this one drives beautifully and is very nice looking as well. How to use: Bind your keys: Install the mod and open your game, go to settings -> controls -> vehicle and bind every key that you want to use. So I don't think there is a proper solution at the moment. There isn't any sort of ground penetrating physics for simulating studded tires. Lights? Yes add a Roof Rack and add some lights too it Light Bulb type is up to folks. There really isn't any difference between how the tire physics work on ice vs asphalt except that ice has lower static and sliding coefficient of friction values and asphalt has higher values. If you want bigger tires go for Cut Fenders (mainly mods) for more clearance between fender & wheel. I suggest that you go 15-20 PSI for air pressure too. Go for the *Highest ground clearance* possible, add good Off-road Tires & Wheels it matters on what suspension for wheel size, other than that its up to personal Preference. Type, go for Off-road independent or 3 link both are good but independent has more ground clearance up front. So.I'm sort of beggin you here. Can you please offer a little more detail on how to change the tires? I am completely at a loss.My example will be with the D-series aka (The Pickup) all other vehicles can account to the modifications that are applied. This add-on attempts to address the issue to ensure that mods and configurations made prior to 0.20 that supports universal wheels and tires spawn properly in. I couldn't even select the vehicle I was driving let alone find anywhere to change tires. So unless I am playing a horrendously bugged version (Alpha v0.11.0.5), the option to change tires doesn't exist for me.Įverywhere I''ve looked just says "under parts selection" or In vehicle customization" and 'Click the plus under suspention' and no one says which parts selector, or which vehicle customization tab, or where to find it. I tried the vehicle options tab while in a scenario.Still no options to change tires. Stupid question, but where is this "Parts selector" you speak of? I tried going into the garage, and found no options. In the upcoming days mod approvals could be slower than normal. ![]() On the lower lever of the menu, you will see the tires.įrom there you can change them to any other tire that fits that particular wheel you installed. You can edit tires by going in the vehicles/common/tires folder. Once you find, you will see that you can further expand the 'wheels' group. They explode because normal tires are not supposed to handle such speeds. I want to know if I need to warm up the tires or not when I am racing so I dont slide off the track because I think my tires are warmer than they are. In most cars those are located under the 'Suspension' group. I would love to see a user interface app created where I can see my tire temperatures, kind of like the brake temps, but for tires. Open the part selector, then you need to find the wheels. Originally posted by Nadeox1:Sure you can. ![]()
